Seriously, why bother featuring the ONLY EXISTING SEASON of ANY show of this caliber????

Don't get me wrong, having watched the entire first and only season of Terra Nova I can understand WHY it never fruitioned to more, BUT...

Firstly, I never would have known it existed without Netflix.

Secondly, warts and all it is still NOT THE WORST SHOW EVER & we get multiple seasons of pure drivel spewed at us continuosly.

Thirdly, finally & for me, most importantly:

I got my 2 sons (9 & 13) watching this when I discovered it, because it was something that they could both harmlessly enjoy and that I could sit through. Yes, even my 9yo poked holes in the science and scenarios, but they DID enjoy it. They are looking forward to season 2. There are not many similarly oriented shows that are appropriately accommodating to both of their ages and development levels and now, after the fact, I realise there "can be only one".

I lament that apparently I should be making us all sit down together for episodes of Home and Away and will forever be checking dates abd imdb info before even entertaining the idea os actually giving any shows a sideways glance.

If anyone can suggest alternative shows of interest to pick up where Terra Nova left off, please comment.

My 9 year old has surprisingly joined us for Wayward Pines. I don't want to give away plot as to why...

lol.. sadface @ your kids waiting for season 2. At least Jurassic World came out recently.. that should hold em over for a bit

Yeah and Jurassic World was basically a rehash of the first Jurassic Park movie, most of the characters was boring and unimportant except for maybe the "Starlord" guy.

Nothing wrong with hoping for another season of one of the few really descent shows in years.

Though honestly I have little hope that Terra Nova will ever come back.

FOX even removed the Motion comic site.

Netflix isn't at fault...blame the network they cancelled it....maybe Netflix will add it as a new show like arrested ddevelopment

Try Primeval. British show. It's on Netflix.

I couldn't last past the first two seasons, but that's because they changed it to appeal to a younger audience, and I'm an old fart.

Actually it was FOX that bungled it not Netflix.

Firefly seems to be having a rebound and there have been rumours (Probably too hopefull) about Terra Nova as well...

I'd hate to burst your bubble, but unless Fox relinquishes it's stranglehold on Firefly and Joss gives it to someone he knows will take proper care of it - there will never be another Firefly. Fans donated thousands, if not a million or more to buy the rights and Fillion said he'd match it and Joss and his people told them they were fools and it would never happen.
