There are more than 70000 votes on imdb. Why can't they renew the series? It was such a novel idea

I so wish there was a Season 2. I just watched S1 again. It's so awesome and thrilling.

I liked this show too, what brought me here is I was watching the 12 monkeys show, same writer and thought I would check out this board, didnt know it was the same writer. 12 Monkeys is a good show! Tho I may hae preferred Terra Nova.
