"you're no bunny, till somebunny loves you" **SPOILERS**
That ending just made the whole movie for me! I had a poster on my wall for the longest time with that saying on it. (Plus I had a pet bunny, and I wish I'd had a teacher like the Bunny Lady to show me how to take care of it.) This was such a heartwarming movie. Loved the little girl (Sophie Bolen) and Florence Henderson played such a gruff, mean old lady with a warm heart!
I thought the mom and dad were both played very well with great emotion. They were both truly trying to help this lost little girl and give her a forever home. (they weren't just being foster parents for the paycheck!) Even though they had their own troubles they were dealing with. The 2 boys were obnoxious, but that's how boys are...unfortunately...especially from a girl's point of view at that age! And thank goodness they did not give the bunny back to that truly horrible boy.
I was so scared it wasn't going to have a happy ending, I almost didn't watch it. (I can't stand it when animals are hurt or die in a movie) Little Julia and Rumple (cute name!) both had some mending to do and it came out just the way I wanted it to. 😊 Thanks to UP channel for showing this sweet little movie!!
