I was very suspicious of this movie when a friend of mine recommended it. He says it was right up my alley but I didn't believe him till I caught myself running into it the other night. Wow, at first it started off slow, but things really kicked into high gear after he gets hold of a shotgun. I can say one thing, this movie had plenty of surprises and tons of gore. Yeah it was cheesy but it was suppose to be. The lines were great and was a great homage to the old B movies. If you watch a movie and it makes you constantly cringe, stunned, and say "Oh $hit! I can't believe that $hit just happened!" then you gotta give it props.

No, my friend, this movie is freaking AWESOME!!!
Just like the title of the making of documentary says - More blood, More Heart!!!

I didn't expect to enjoy it but I thought it was great. Underneath the OTT violence there was a serious message. But any film in which the baddie gets electrocuted by having his skated foot stuck in a toaster has to get top marks! Priceless.

I'm with the OP. I was expecting something really low budget and probably stupid, but it turned out to be just plain awesome. I ended up giving this movie 10 stars.
