Being an atheist (or at least not religious)...

...is considered medium or large baggage?

Are you serious???

I haven't watched every episode but there were a few contestants whose medium or large baggages was that they weren't religious or that they didn't believe in god at all.

WTF?

I have to be fair here and yes I am an atheist. Sometimes the largest piece of baggage is someone that is overly religious.. like saving sex for marriage, bf/gf has to go to churche everyday with them etc. I honestly do not think its a slight toward atheism.

Although I'm a skeptic of religions, I'm a strong believer in god.

Being an atheist would be a lot baggage for me. I would never be able to marry an atheist because I know some where down the line problems would arise.

As I said on another post, this is a dealbreaker for many people. I totally lost interest in a guy that I was very physically attracted to when I heard he was a practicing Wiccan. Sorry, but I am very skeptical of that.

Oh please. What about the girl who loves church or is a Christian and got harassed for it? That different?
