So I rented Mr. Hush.

Then I came on IMDB to look it up, saw all the awfuls review warning to stay away, saying it is a piece of crap, worse movie ever etc.

So I said to myself it can't be that bad. I'm already going in with low expectations. And besides there were other terrible reviews for movies I enjoyed.

I was wrong.

It was bad. very bad. If I can save one person the horror of watching this film, then I will feel my life was worth living.

I kept hoping for better and better, but got worse and worse.

I do believe it was supposed to be a homage to the 80s slashers. Yeah, it wasn't.

80s Slasher should have:

Bad but passable acting
Nudity
Lots of kills
a fearsome bad guy
a heroic lead you cheers for

Mr. Hush has:

Bad to worse acting
No nudity
only 5 very lame ass kills
a questionable bad guy ( I will get back to him soon.)
You wanted the lead to die, painfully

So the villain Mr. Hush, I thought his gimmick was being gay, same with his sidekick. And I thought well that's kinda twist.

But later on you learn he isn't gay, just bad acting. Still up in the air about his sidekick.

I do have to said, the girl who played Kat is new to this, so hopefully this was a learning experiences for her and she will grow as an actress.

So to sum it up nicely you would have more fun drinking bleach than watching this "movie".

ive never been so embarrassed in my life... and that was by watching this... i just finished it a few mins ago.. brad loree was perfect playing michael myers only cause all he had to do was stand there... he needs to stick to being a stunt man nothing more... i knew the mr. hush guy was suppose to be a vampire as soon as he first drank blood... his side kick was good in the original fright night so i guess thats why he sorta plays the same person in this... if any one is reading this before watching please smack the *beep* outta urself for even concidering it....

You wonder how Redbox would choose this as a rental.So bad it makes you angry while you are watching it. The ultimate kicker was the incredibly bad make-up at the end whemn Mr. Hush is revealed. Wow!I want my 1.28 back!

After about an hour and 15 minutes it's revealed that Mr Hush is a vampire and he is still mad that the main character's grandfather was in a car accident that killed Mrs. Hush in the 1930's. Mr. Hush is then abruptly killed with a stake through the pancreas. Then after that you realize just how big of a mistake it was to watch this.

I thought this film was a lot of fun. I enjoyed it.
