As an Alaskan, this is BS Alaska has one of the lowest rates of church..

Attendance. Alaskan's are not very religious people. Its a fact.

Actually, that's NOT a fact, not the way you say it.

Alaska is the largest state in the union, with 586,000 sq. miles, but less than 700,000 people. Considering the WINTER in Alaska, and how people are spread out in the state, it's perfectly understandable why people wouldn't be attending church regularly!

What's more interesting is that the lowest rate of church attendance in the US is in New England. Alaska, even with all the physical distance and barriers, beats New England in churchgoing by a good margin.

Apparently you did not read his post correctly, because he said that Alaska has ONE of the lowest church attendance rates, not THE lowest, which is true. Also, while it may be cold, many of the towns are small, meaning the trip to church is not much. I was born in Alaska, and I have an 80 year old grandmother that still walks to church every Sunday. I do not share her beliefs, but I still respect her as a person!

Actually, I read his post just fine. Church attendance is not necessarily indicative of one's belief in God, which is the point of his claim - which, as it turns out, isn't exactly true.

Touche, but you could have said that before.

No, they chose Alaska because it is where their hero, Sarah Palin, is from.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?
