I love this cast listing, it has two of my favorite actors in it (Michelle Trachtenberg and Ewan McGregor). And I was somehow expecting Paul Verhoeven to be the director of this adaptation
But is it really a good idea to include both standard & uncut versions of the film in theaters?

What if the standard version receives a wider release than the uncut version? (And I'm also assuming that the standard version receives most, if not all, of the digital 3D and IMAX 3D screens for the film.) And as for the home video release of the film, the standard version will receive no special markings, while the uncut version will bear not only a Parental Advisory label (yes, that Parental Advisory label, the one you see on music releases) but also a sticker on the cellophane wrap reading "If your local theatre didn't receive this full version, now's your chance to own it!". Howzat sound?
Oh, and here's my idea for a DVD and Blu-ray release: the DVD will contain the entire film in red-cyan anaglyphic 3D on two discs, with a handful of special features, including the theatrical trailer and a behind-the-scenes featurette, and there will be two Blu-ray releases: a two-disc version with the anaglyphic 3D version on disc 1 and the 2D version on disc 2 (with special features on both discs), and a three-disc release containing the Blu-ray 3D version on disc 1, special features, including a feature-length behind-the-scenes documentary called Angel Beats! Revisited (if you've heard of The Matrix Revisited, you'll know what I'm talking about), on disc 2, and a digital copy on disc 3. Unlike most Disney Blu-ray Discs, none of the Blu-ray releases will contain a DVD of the film since I'm projecting an approximate running time of 295 minutes (to be split into two parts in theatres with a 15-minute intermission between parts just to give moviegoers a break; the first part will cover episodes 1-7, and the second part will cover episodes 8-13), and even a dual-layer DVD can only hold 240 minutes. (All versions will have standard and uncut versions sold separately, except the Blu-ray 3D three-disc edition, which will only use the uncut version.) Howzat sound?

That's a good idea. The Parental Advisory sticker would add a nice touch for the uncut home video release

Awesome! Sounds like a very special DVD & Blu-Ray release. I like the idea of making a documentary in the Blue-Ray release similar in feel to "The Matrix Revisited". I also like how you set up the complete layout of the features, the set-up would be a real treat for the big fans of Angel Beats! . But I can tell that the Blu-Ray release will be very, very expensive to buy

Can't think of more songs at the moment. I'll post more songs later on once I think of them

Cool! Now let's condense our two soundtracks into our own version of the soundtrack. I think the fourteen songs I'd call "must-haves" in what we'll call "the definitive Angel Beats! soundtrack" are "World Painted Blood" by Slayer (thrash metal) Eb tuning, "The Thing That Should Not Be" by Metallica (thrash metal) Drop Db tuning*, "I Wish I Had" by Stroke (industrial rock) Eb tuning*, "21 Guns" by Green Day (alternative rock) Eb tuning, "Captain Cocktail" by Cirrus (electronica) D tuning, "Hallowed Point" by Slayer (thrash metal) Eb tuning, "The God That Failed" by Metallica (heavy metal) Eb tuning, "South of Heaven" by Slayer (doom metal) Eb tuning, "Crow Song" cover by Emma Watson (hard rock) Eb tuning, "Alchemy" cover by Emma Watson (heavy metal) Eb tuning, "My Song" cover by Emma Watson (acoustic rock) Eb tuning, "Thousand Enemies" cover by Emma Watson (hard rock) Eb tuning, "Shine Days" cover by Emma Watson (hard rock) Eb tuning, and "My Most Precious Treasure" cover by Emma Watson (acoustic rock) Eb tuning. What do you think should be included in the combination? (And yes, I'm aiming for a two-disc soundtrack.)

I'm not to big on a live action but i love some of the actors not many though just the Harry Potter one's . Tom Felton as Naoi Ayato made me smile because it would be like Draco part two
