Comparisons with Gone Baby Gone (SPOILERS FOR BOTH)

I've just watched Tallulah and coincidentally watched Gone Baby Gone only a few weeks before and obviously noticed the similar themes they both have about what is the right thing to do for the child.

After watching Gone Baby Gone I felt that Casey Affleck's character did the right thing by returning the child to her Mother even though it was made clear she wasn't a good Mother and the child would most likely have had a better life with the other family. However after watching Tallulah I was the opposite, I was completely behind Ellen Page in making sure this child got taken away from her mother and potentially got a better life with a new family.

I don't know whether it was because we spend more time with Tallulah in this film or I just preferred her character to Morgan Freeman's in Gone Baby Gone or what. I just thought it was interesting.

Did anyone else have different thoughts on what was the right thing to do in both movies?

Oh, the usual. I bowl. Drive around. The occasional acid flashback.
