A Film that everyone should watch

Who would be a woman living there.

This was so real.

The Actress was beautiful and talented. Loved the Aunty too.
Hate the way women are treated by the Men.

Some women have no choice but to live there ..

It felt real, which is why it's compelling viewing. Re-the men: I think the young soldier offers a view of male experience as well as a possible change in relationship between a man and a woman, although he does think she's a prostitute so may be not.

I give my respect to those who have earned it; to everyone else, I'm civil.

I totally agree. Specialy the "western world" where we think we are "so far away" from this issues that we don't feel it concerns us.
But it should concern us because globalization is here to stay, and these cultures are migrating to the "western world". The big problem is that they want to expand and impose their laws and rules of life, and this is simply unacceptable. It's a matter of simple basic human rights.

I always think that Afghanistan & Yemen are two of the worst places on earth to live for a woman.
