or is just no one talking about the fact they wound up in the wrong dimension, at the end?

it was ambiguous, sure, but beyond that, the american flag was wrong. only had 48 stars. makes their next moments more interesting, at least. i was hoping more had changed but that's all i noticed.

It was framed and on display.It wasn't a modern flag. It's
possibly from WWII or at least it was made before the end
of the 50's when Alaska and Hawaii became states.
Easy explanation. Nothing more
