Best Season?

For me season 3 by far,dark,suspenseful and with a very good end.

no comparison: the final two seasons of this series r the best! for anyone that watched the first two & didn't like the show, i guarantee that if u watch the final two seasons, u will feel totally different (& love it). because of seasons 3 & 4, i consider "the killing" to be the most well-written character study of homicide detectives on tv.

I agree with you, seasons 3 & 4 were particularly good, even though I do enjoy the first 2 seasons also, but I think the writing definitely improved gradually through the seasons.

1 and 2 were average and season 3 was obvious who the killer was for me. I knew it was her old partner when the guy called him from prison.

Personally, I thought that the first two seasons were the best. Season three started off kind of slow but got better as it went on. Season four was, well, just F this and F that....

1 & 2 were some of the best tv ever made IMHO. 3 and 4 were both good as well but not nearly as good as the first two.

I agree. It was only the excellent performances by Enos and Kinnaman [and some strong support, especially from Elias Koteas, Bex-Taylor Klaus, and Gregg Henry] that kept the show worth watching in Seasons 3 and 4.
