Everyone passes gas. You just don't read about it in the papers. It's just a bodily function that the Lord gave us when too much methane is built into our system. It happens like everything else on this planet. Some accept it and others are SHOCKED!!! I try to keep myself well manned, mature, and appropriate in public, but if it has to happen, let it pass. Can only pray for the people who have to squirm every time they hear that noise or the poor bastard who has run to the bathroom just to let loose so he or she's not embarrassed.
My dad worked on a production line for one of the biggest manufacturers on the planet. He always cracked jokes about flatulence in the work place ever since I was a kid. He use to talk about my uncle on my mom's side. If you know how to end a production meeting, sit next to that dude. My dad's finest qualities was his ridiculously dry and occasionally clean humor. Whenever my uncle let loose, it was so bad the men would scatter like the roadrunner in the Looney Tunes cartoons. They treated it like a nuclear bomb went off. LMAO! Oh God damn.
We're not proud. I have tears in my eyes just laughing about it. Damn I'm awful.

what kind of an excuse is that. everyone sh.its and pisses too. so for you it is normal if we do it in front of everybody? where you grown in a barn? there are just some things that are rude and unpolite in civilized world. unwritten laws. you may find farting funny when you are with your "dudes" but it is inappropriate in a situation when people have not given you a permission to be "a funny fart guy".
if you have problem with your gasses go and see a doctor. just saying that "its a normal thing to have gasses" is actually wrong. i live in northern europe. Estonia. in our country for most people those fart jokes look stupid. and farting in public is rude. and also people have ability to hold it in in public. it is of course normal to have gasses now or then ....but having them all the time and having inability to hold it in is not normal. it is time to look for medical help.
one of my friends once lived in usa for a few years and said that there is a habit to "let it go whenever you will". she said it was really irritating. maybe you americans find it normal. we europeans find it disgusting.
