Was Ned actually Kuno??

I couldn't help but think this movie seemed like another spin off from forgetting sarah marshall.. kuno goes home from his hawaii surf instructor job.

Overall an easy watching little movie... not sure why people dislike it so much.. what was anyone expecting?
