Just saw the trailer and I'm thinking of renting it, is this character/movie in the same vein as TBL? Peace!

But the Dude has detective skills...well, largely useless. Ned is good-willing and naive, the Dude only wants to get away with it ( abide )

same thing hit me when i was seeing the movie. but there are differences. major one - the dude isn't that naive.

He's more like Lloyd Christmas, except for the most part, more naive than outright dumb.
