How to make a cheap movie for a quick buck

Here's how Hollywood works nowadays. Either they make a super expensive comic book movie for the overseas audiences or they make a super cheap chick flick with one B list actor in the starring role.

Really, this movie was just plain cheap and stupid. The dog running into jail? How is that remotely believable? Like the cops would bother to try and fool the village idiot and put him in jail for the first place.

And Elizabeth Banks, that's an awful bit of acting there. I guess if you're only making x amount of dollars you'll just go ahead and phone it in, won't you?

Yes, the movie made a few bucks. The movie was released in late Aug and girlfriends would drag their boyfriends to see this silly, light, comedy.

I give it an "F" for effort and a "C" for a 3 week shoot that produced a meaningless movie.

Elizabeth Banks. I just have to repeat how pathetic her effort was. WOW.
