This or Ben10?

I know the only thing that connected Generator Rex and Ben10 is both of 'em made by Man of Action. but well i guess that's enough, even Ben10 has become greatly successful around the world and have tons of episode while Rex only have 2 seasons, I still want to know your opinions anyway. xD

So what'd you guys think? What show would you choose between these two? What's better and what's worse in each show?

For me, I think Ben10 is comparable but Ben10:Alien Force and Ultimate Alien might have to fall. I think that Gwen character dropped a lot and so it decreases my interest, also Julie is just boring. While Holiday and Circe is still interesting. Well but that's just my stupid thoughts, what're yours? :D

Generator. Ben 10 just got gimmicky overtime.

Generator Rex for sure. I still really like all the different versions of Ben 10 but Generator Rex has alot more to offer. There's been alot more to GR from day one.

There're so many different dynamics between the characters; the premise is more sophisticated but still allows for fun/goofy moments; there are more story arcs and they're better developed; the kid/teen and 'human interest' storylines that you get from Ben, Gwen, Kevin and Julie are matched in GR by Rex, Noah, Circe etc. but then there's Six and Holiday aswell, which adds a whole other level of interest and maturity. I could go on and on...lol.

Gen Rex is a better made show. I like seeing the different aliens on Ben, but often don't know if I care about the human interaction so much. Many of the episodes don't seem to go anywhere.

I really liked Ben 10 but there was a certain point where I just lost interest. It's very marketing oriented, they should just flash 'buy more toys' on the screen every time a new alien shows up.

The plot of Generator Rex is fairly complex and at times dark for the usual kids cartoon, I think what keeps me coming back each week are the characters. I care a lot more about the main cast of this show way more than I ever did in Ben 10, the way they evolve (no pun intended) and interact is entertaining and sometimes suprising.

Yeah, Ben is alright, but I feel like they've kind of beaten it to death by now. They've 'ended' the show enough times that I've lost count. It is very marketable though, and I think that's the main reason that it's still around.

Rex just goes much deeper into the characters and the plot. Like Black Knight, who started out as the creepy replacement for White. She's turned into a dangerous character with a hidden agenda and enough power to pursue them.

Also the fact that all the villains in the Rex are human. Granted some have mutated, but they are people and not aliens. I find it much more compelling to learn why a person would want to do another harm much more than learning why an alien would want to do the same thing.

Carpe Diem

Gen Rex.

Both could have been pretty equal for me had Ben 10 not been watered down so much due to excessive needless entries into it's universe.

Gen Rex on the other hand reminded more of Ben 10 during it's first series, but with a more consistent arc and mature tone. It found the right balance of light heartedness and darker moments as well.
