One of the worst films of 2015

I am a fan of b-movies, cheapies that are made on a small scale but produce entertaining fare, but occasionally you will run across one that just falls to the d-movie level. Unfortunately "Axe to Grind" is that kind of film. Starring the usually interesting Debbie Rochon this offered little else. No story to speak of. Horrible acting from everyone else. Even the cheesy f/x was boring to look at. Debbie plays a b-movie actress who has seen better days and her producer boyfriend kicks her to the curb for a younger one. He is making another sexy horror movie and Debbie literally kills to get on the set, and while there continues to kill just about everyone associated with the film. This isn't sexy, scary, or even remotely entertaining. Truth be told I know I could writer better scripts than this. Avoid at all costs. Easily one of the worst movies of the year so far. * out of 4 stars.

I didn't think it was that bad. I actually liked it. I think 'All Saints Eve' should definitely be considered the worst horror movie of 2015.

One of the worst films of 2015? Try again. These are just some of the horror genre craptastrophies that I've stepped on in 2015.
Little Red Riding Hood (2015)
The Ouija Experiment 2: Theatre of Death (2015)
Amityville Playhouse (2015)
Shock Attack (2015)
Anger of the Dead (2015)
Hansel vs. Gretel (2015)
Strange Blood (2015)
Toxin (2015)
Zombie Massacre 2: Reich of the Dead (2015)
World War Dead: Rise of the Fallen (2015)
Kick (2015)
Darkest Day (2015)
Silverhide (2015)
The Culling (2015)
Dark Vision (2015)
The Last House on Cemetery Lane (2015)
And that list doesn't include any titles with the word "shark", and only the worst of the worst from The Ass-ylum.

This isn't sexy, scary, or even remotely entertaining.
Debbie Rochon could make reading the ingredients off a box of Cheerios sexy, but that's just my opinion. Maybe there wasn't enough beefcake for you? As far as scary goes, there hasn't been a scary movie released since 1973. But I was quite entertained watching DR get to stretch her legs a little.
Truth be told I know I could writer better scripts than this.
Well keep this thread handy, and if you actually manage to follow through on that impudent, overused boast, then I'll be the first to admit it wasn't just unfounded juvenile ranting. But until then, sharpen your crayons, get to writing, and http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0182769/.

Agreed...The Exorcist was the last scary movie

Agreed....Debbie Rochon gets the opportunity to play the lead..she delivers a tour-de-force here, one of her finest performances...she's the quintessential professional as well

Agreed...This wasn't Shakespeare...or Christopher McQuarrie..it's a fun little b movie

Agreed...I've seen at least thirty "horror" films just this year I'd rank below Axe to Grind
