i doubt it. a lot of animes that are adaptations of manga, visual novels, or light novels, are usually just made to help popularize the original source material.

It is very strange that it doesn't have an end date anymore on here, there were some petitions for them to bring the show back similarly to Madoka Magica, the North American & European audiences really took to this show in a way that I think the Japanese audience didn't, so it's always possible more seasons could be developed in the future. Plenty of anime's come back a long time after ending, it's one of few "genres" that does this.
