Only bit that made me laugh out loud in the cinema...

and completely made the film for me. When Johnny was on the plane and the other spy - the younger one - was like, "Um Sir, he's not a Susan..." about the chinese flight attendant.
And Johnny looked at the name tag and was like, "Obviously you're not a linguist. It's SHU-SAN."
LOL. Came out of nowhere and i laughed so hard.
Rowan Atkinson made this movie, he's great.

For me, it was the scene where Johnny goes down slowly in his chair while the President meeting is on

even monkeys fall from trees

my was the chase on the rooftops, it was so boringly done its funny

it was like in a horror movie when the murder walks slowly and the victim runs like hell! only now in an action comedy

The only part me and my mate really laughed out was when he said something about dying at the hands of the Swiss.

SHOW ME POTATO SALAD!

Lots of it was great, my favorite was in the helicopter though, where they go down to road level to read a signpost then when asked for their altitude Tucker says "About 18 inches?" xD

I LOL'd at several scenes, also loved the Shu-San one too! At the start where he is walking on hot coals and his mentor commends him on his concentration, he looks up and says "sorry what did you say" then yells as his feet are burning - I laughed like a little child!

There's a lot of lol moments. "Set the sat-nav for Switzerland" and when they arrive, you see a helicopter view of the town where tons of speed cameras flash. Loved the rooftop chase too. The guy jumps the fence, and in his moment of wisdom, Johnny just opens the gate. Shu-san was hilarious. The Toshiba Secret Service... so many.

My favorite was him jumping around in that body bag... so funny!

I hope you don't mind, but I have a quick question since you saw the movie. I run a web site that catalogs which movies have post credits scenes, a.k.a Stingers, and was hoping you would be able to help me out and let me know if there are in fact any scenes that occur either after or even during the credits?

I would be more than happy to personally thank you on this entries page and link to your website if you can help me out.

Thanks!

P.S. Can't wait for this movie! Love Rowan Atkinson!!!

I know this is really late, but there is a scene during the credit roll, about 2/3 of the way through the credits. It is Johnny English cooking some kind of vegetable stir-fry for his girlfriend, presumably in his apartment or whatever. It is a few minutes long and set to classical music. It's kind of funny and pointless.

reply

Yeah, I heard about that. It's supposed to be really funny. Unfortunately I haven't been able to see it yet. Thanks for the reply!

The whole 'vole' thing was classic Atkinson, brilliant scene.

MY absolute favorite was the dock fight. Johnny English kicking ass with common sense. How often do you see THAT in action movies? :-)

reply

I loved his reaction every time Mozambique was mentioned. It was a bit I kept looking forward to throughout the movie!

when the helicopter was traveling with all the cars and had to go around the roundabout.....they could have just crossed the grass!

reply

made me laugh when they followed the road in the helicopter when they could have gone up a bit to see where the hospital was, not just hoping they spot it on the ground

"sir, sir, i gotta check and see if you've soiled yourself, I'll get to you in a moment, sir!"

the 'Agent in Distress' bit...

reply

I liked the "agent in distress" bit too. Another line I always look forward to when watching this film is when he's greeting Patch, who mentions the fact that his legs and hand have been blown off in various accidents, and Johnny says "Well, it's good to see... what's left of you." It's all in the delivery.
