sex,nudity - Intruders (2011) Discussion

There are a couple small "Sexual" scenes, the only nudity I remember is fairly close to the beginning when the Mom and Dad just get done having sex and the mom gets up completely naked and goes to her coat and gets a cigarette, it last a little less than a minute because the daughter ends up coming into the room. But you see the mom full frontal for a bit I'm pretty sure.

Carice Van Houten is nude in almost every one of her movies apparently! If a movie has her in it, then it has nudity. It's like a Kate Winslet clause.

It felt unnecessary and you would think the parents would be smart enough to lock their door with the daughter in the house.

Also, it's a double standard that we didn't get to see Clive Owen nude. Typical Hollywood sexism.

Obviously you're not aware of Dutch Cinema. In Dutch movies there is either sex, violence or murder. Familyfilms have all three...

Unneeded nudity I agree, unlikely situation not so much.

Unless you must be sexually abstinent.

First time I saw it on HBO, they cut this scene completely,
it has nothing got to do with the story at all,
I don't even aware such a nude scene exit till I rent the DVD,
Yeah I know the reputation about Carice van Houten,
but this scene just unnecessary here, why exploit her?
She can do some decent acting in nice family films,
I love " Miss Minoes ", " From Time To Time ",
though It's very fewer works in her filmography.
I do wish her keep her dignity, put on some cloth.

What is the big deal? "Keep her dignity"? Obviously she doesn't mind being nude so it doesn't hurt her dignity. Obviously it hasn't hurt her career either. Nor should it. So what's the problem? Bunch of prudes.

I hate to break it to you but everybody's naked at some point in their lives. Shocking, I know. And scenes like that one in the movie happen all the time in the real world. Everybody survives, the world doesn't end and life goes on.

I would agree the scene was unnecessary but being nude isn't degrading. If she agreed to the nude scene I don't see how it is exploitation either. If they are going to show an unnecessary nude scene, it would be nice if we got to at least see the male actor's butt. LOL
