First of all, I get that there was no cell phone reception...but why in the hell would you not have a landline phone in your house if that was the case?
Also, why did they not just take the car to the hospital when Malik got his arm bitten off?? Hello????????????????

No landline phone, but the house had a security system...were the house broken into, I suppose the security system would send up flares?
sharejkpush, I was thinking the same thing about the house alarm. There's no way to have an alarm without a land or cell line.
But this was just one of the minor things wrong with the movie!
