Better than Piranha 3DD

Piranha 3DD was better.

Chris Zylka was a lot better in piranha as well.

I agree. After watching piranha 3dd a few times, i realised just how bad it was in comparison to piranha 3d. But with shark night 3d, it wasnt a sequel and we already new it wouldnt have any nudity or much gore in it because if its rating.

Eventually, i have piranha 3dd a 6/10; it was fun, and it would have been alot more if that final massacre wasnt so bad on every level, and if they hadnt re-used so many shots from the first film (gave it a really cheap feel). The whole film was badly edited, and the only good scenes involved characters from the other films and a very kinky sex scene. However, i LOVED the addition of the rubber piranhas haha, seeing as i prefer practical effects over cgi.

I gave shark night a rather generous 7/10, mainly because it was better than i was expecting. And despite its pg-13 rating (M here in Australia), they still managed to get some moderatly bloody and cool deaths in there (the cookie cutter shark death was good, would have been GREAT if it was gorier, it had such good gore potential! But it was still bloody, which was suprising- they must be relaxing pg-13 ratings a bit more). The great white jumping out of the water to eat the guy on the jet ski was a moment of pure awesomeness, i have to admit. I was suprised at how much gore they got away with in a pg-13 film, was anyone else? Anywho, it was just as cheesy as i had expected and i was entertained for its entire duration.

So i suppose thats why i prefer shark night 3d over piranha 3dd...anyone agree or disagree?
