I didn't understand how Dennis got the scars
There was something involving Sarah drowning and then she ran over his head, did they explain more than that? Also, his scars weren't exactly disfiguring, more like scratches on his face.
shareshe thought he knew she was drowning and didn't help her. so when she got to the surface she panicked and took off in the boat, hitting him in the face with the boat propeller.
and no, he wasn't disfigured. which made me think he's just a whiny little p***y. get over it dude, you got a scar on your face. you didn't go blind or deaf or even lose and eye or ear.
When he had her on the boat when it turned out he was a bad guy he did say he lost his hearing in his right ear. Might have been to piss Sara off in the moment, though.
shareAlso, seems to me Dennis knew Sara was drowning and did not care, or he rigged her equipment so she'd drown. Why else would he not react to Sara's "No air" signal and "just kinda float away", like Sara described?
