how come right after a movie comes out there is another moive just like

it that comes out a month or two after the other one or less than a month after the other one??? do filmmakers plan it that way. once a movie starts to get made and has a general release date do other filmmakers start working on a movie extremely similar to it and try to get it released a month or two before or after the other movie?

with creative energy and ideas limitless potential and with all the similar movies that there are that are not pretty much duplicate movies, would there be a way for them to make at the worst, similar movies that are like other movies that come out after other movies?
