Wow! I must be in the minority...

...because I really liked this!
For me Jim Broadbent totally makes this. I just enjoyed his delivery of Logans' life. There were some loose ends but as another commentator said - his life was followed with his journal, & a journal doesn't always tie up loose ends. Generally though, I followed the story without any problems.
People have been saying Logan's a self-centred, sex obsessed, unlikable and also unlikely character. But I must say, I've genuinely known someone just like him!!!
I'll keep this short (cos typing this on my phone is rather tiresome!), basically I really enjoyed the story and enjoyed the bittersweet ending. (Unwittingly completing his masterpiece with it under his nose all the time. And being released from his melancholic life, where he finally experiences a bit of stability and welcome slow down)...
So yeah, I liked it a lot, and I found that, feeling and emotion came through it very nicely.
