I'm only seeing the sequel if Emily Blunt is in it

And if she gets dual helicopter blades.

If Ari Gold saw Chappie he would say:

She will

Of course she's in it. They wouldn't make it without her.

You never know, they could focus on all new characters.

I could easily imagine Tom & Emily not being a part of a sequel but I really hope they come back if the movie continues forward. I know Emily said she hated working with the suit.

I don't see it being a $100m+ picture if it stars someone like Miles Teller and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. I'm not even sure a sequel starring Tom & Emily would make $100m.

I don't even see how there could be a sequel, the first ended perfectly and works as is.

LOL! There's really no point in making the film if she's not in it. Just like there is no point in making another Mission Impossible film if Rebecca Fergusson is not in it (which she will be). Both ladies stole the from Cruise and are the main draws of their respective films.

In fact I had no plans on seeing the EoT. Until I saw her performance in the 2nd trailer, and then I thought I have to see this just for her. It really is nice to see a powerful yet very feminine woman.

Agreed. She's fundamental to the story. Surprised a sequel is being talked about and it will be interesting to see whether it actually gets off the ground.🐭
