Can you find a flaw?

Pretty well written, can't spot any logic/plot flaws, maybe I am just getting old.

Does PTSD not occur if you can't die? Maybe being 'reborn' is the antidote.

Looked through past post and the plot hole listed arent good ones, the true nature of the 'omega' is unknown and mostly theory, leaving open to interpretation the ending.

Here are some flaws.

1. They should have followed the excellent source material instead of "Starship Troopering" it.

2. The sappy zero-body-count ending.

So you did not "get" Starship troopers either!
Stick to the Michael Bay movies about Transformers..

The director was making an entirely different film. When he was told about the similarities with the book, the rights were purchased, a few names changes and script modifications were made and then they had a satirical take on the book that was an "adaptation in name only" for the most part.

reply

Agreed. Excellent movie nevertheless.

I don't think what happened here was as bad as starship troopers did to the source, but yeah I get it. I feel the same with Bourne Identity. Great movie, great book, but both very different things.

In my opinion the alien should are too overpowered for the humans. Stabby stabby. I would have at least given humanity a little more firepower or something to balance it out.

Only one minute in - where exactly is Hamburg (the impact)?

On the map, the spread starts off in Munich, ~400 miles off.

Well done.
