I wondered why this is even called a sequel if none of the characters from the first are in the second or if it doesn't involve a continuation of the plot from the original. The only connection this has with the latter is that there is surfing in both.
shareIt's like those sequels that are basically remakes or retelling of the originals.. Like the 'Wild Things' series, although there is one character who is in two of them and they all share the same town name of BluBay, but they honestly are all just rip offs of each other that have nothing to do with the original. Cruel Intentions, Bring It On series, etc. But yeah, it's kind of stupid they only cash in on the title.
