Enjoyed the surfing, the story not so much

I liked the surfing aspect of this movie even if it wasn't consistent. Some scenes would have huge waves, then when the girls would go surfing the waves would suddenly shrink and be smaller. It looks like stock footage cut in along with the film. The story was so/so, a young woman going to a foreign country like South Africa by herself with no plan is kind of hard to believe.

Also, am I the only one who was hoping Tara would eat a 24oz steak or a double cheeseburger? She was way too thin in this movie. I kept yelling it every time I saw her something along the lines of "eat a sandwich b*tch!"
