If this is not the worst Cuba Gooding movie i ever saw then i don't know which one is. The plot was shallow and empty, the acting was drab, cursing in very unnecessary places and occasions, the tough cop act did not just hit the mark. One phrase i can guarantee you will use many times during the movie...WTF!!!
shareYes! Absolutely! Try "Lies and Illusions" from a few years back. He is paired with Slater again in an incomprehensible story seemingly made by a large commitee. And he plays a creepy effeminate crime boss who seems about as scary as Justin Beeber. Totally against character. Apparently he and Slater are trying to glom as much cash as they can as quickly as they can while people will still pay to watch them.

shareYes indeed - Lies and Illusions, an absolute abomination. Outside of that, he's been in quite a few, let's say not-so-stellar films over the last 5 years or so. One of my least favorites was "Hardwired", a S-T-V that I just caught on Showtime last month that was pretty bad. He's such a strong actor it's a little disappointing to see him trudge through such terrible films, but then again he's got to make a living so more power to him.
