So, how's the 3D?

In most movies, 3D is an afterthought. But this was designed with 3d in mind and shot with 3D cameras, so I expect to be blown away. Worth leaving the house for?

i thought it was astonishing.

i'm going back to see it at another 3d showing this week, but i think i might go back one more time to see it in a non-3d showing, just to see how much i think it 'loses.'

to me, these movies make little sense if not seen in a 3d showing on the biggest available screen...but i'm curious enough to check it out.

it wasn't much better than other 3d movies i've seen. the fast action scenes seemed slightly less flickering. i've enjoyed the 3d more in movies like "gravity", "life of pi" and and even the post-converted 3d version of "terminator 2".

So I finally saw this yesterday. I liked the 3D but it wasn't anything groundbreaking.

reply

It was way better than the first one. There was more depth.

How more groundbreaking could 3D be?
