student loans

in reading the plot summary, i found it strange that she couldn't afford to go to school. i thought that anyone could. i'm completely broke, but i get almost $13,000 for a state university that leaves me with over $7,000 for spending. that's how it works here, you go in debt and worry about it later, or don't worry at all like me.

the other local school is about $10,000 per semester instead of $2,700, so i don't know what happens with the loan amounts if i transfer, but if it isn't enough - then it just means that my 4 year will take 14 or more years because loans don't give me enough money.

the only reason people have to not get a college education is not wanting one or not being good enough to make A-C grades. i just thought the plot seemed silly.
