Why make a movie that has to leech off another movie's fame?

OK, it is not always bad. For example some of the Star Trek continuation series are pretty good - but that is because they are true to the original series and trying to add to it. This movie is a blatant attempt to get people to watch it because they liked Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

The original movie was great for me as a kid because I didn't think too much about it and everybody else like it, it was a big hit. But honestly, "Butch" is a dumb name, and any guy named "the Sundance Kid" is kind of like the song "A Boy Named Sue". If I had it to do over again I'd go back in time and tell my younger self, skip the movie and do your math homework! ;-)
