I was thinking the exact same thing. All the while, where was Ryan? He was supposed to be in Julliard! It would have made much for sense for him to help Sharpay out with her Broadway dreams, rather than that guy who was her mom's friend's son. They didn't even mention Ryan, like he didn't exist! :(

I'm glad I'm not the only one to catch that. And wasn't Sharpay supposed to attend College in Arizona and help teach drama at East High?

The Disney Channel broadcast, a month after the home video release, adds a scene with Lucas in which he tells Sharpay what he's been up to. Watch it on May 22nd, or currently on Disney On Demand (if your cable company carries it) and find out.

And isn't it amazing that both the show's unseen producers and Actor's Equity allowed a non-union member with no professional experience to open a Broadway Show with only one rehearsal? Really?!? There wasn't one female understudy in the company already waiting in the wings to go on when Amber quit?...Gotta love Disney!

Yeah, if you watch the scene with Ryan at the end, he says he's been touring the country in a musical.

This would have been a better movie if it was called Ryan and Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure or Ryan and Sharpay in Everything!!!
