How many characters survived?
I don't really remember how many main characters survived. I do know that the lady news reporter and the female soldier were two survivors.

Funny, it was just on SyFy. The survivors were: [spoiler]Jason London & Rachel Miner (the "Airmen"), The Lady Reporter and her female assistant/photographer, the "good" alien and I think that's it. So, five.[spoiler]
I still enjoy this one, probably because I'm such a Rachel Miner fan.
Those five above survived and Good A;lien was going to be interviewed on tv when the it off the air
