...all the females survive. Notice how the Evil Mother or whatever alien would only come up to the lead actress and and glare at her, and yet it rushed and diced up any male soldier? Why is there so much sexism in this genre?

Really? What other films? Almost every single horror film in the last 40 years.
This was definitely a syfy presentation. You could tell by all the feminist clichés laden throughout.
