The movers

Were these the Albanian home invaders? The movie didn't make it clear because there appeared to be no recognition when the invaders took their masks off. It would explain why they chose to invade that house, since they observed the fatehr placing items in the safe.

Does anyone know for sure?

I had the impression that one of the thugs was the mover man with the golf clubs, as they look similar in my opinion. But on closer inspection, I dont think it was him.

Well, Wikipedia says, that the robbers are actually the movers -

"As she prepares for her date, Marta and Jaime are arguing about how to raise their daughter. Before they can settle their argument, three masked men break into their home and take them all hostage. They are Head Thief, Young Thief, and Strong Thief -- three of the men from the moving crew."

- dunno where they got that info from, still. I have to admit, that once the movie took off, I initially had the same theory, but in the end, whether theý are the same actors or not (haven´t checked), I would have preferred the robbers to be just namless shadows that appeared from nowhere in particular. That´s also why I didn´t like inevitable humanization of them, which happened halfway throughout the movie.

That would be cool if it really was the movers. I guess the movie doesn't make it clear.
