Second Son

Who played the psycho first-born son in this ep? IMDb doesn't have him listed.

According to Entertainment Weekly, that's Guillaume Dolmans.

Thank you.

Never could find a credit anywhere for the cheerleading prostitute another user asked about, though...

Worst episode yet. The sword fight was horrific. Must be the same choreographers from GOT.

reply

The sword fight was made to be tournament style. You would have complained about the gladiators of ancient Rome as well as medieval jousting.

Doesn't matter what it was. It was clumsy and badly choreographed.

I totally agree with you. The only thing less believable were the actors themselves. Definitely the weakest episode I've seen

"You will tremble in fear of Mad Man Oreo!!"

I just happened to tune this in by chance after watching Warehouse 13 and this was the very first episode that I saw. I didn't realize that it was an anthology until I read the Wiki. For some reason I thought that this was some kind of 'Game of Thrones' variation with a continuing story line.

So I guess that this means that the poor, and relatively nice, younger brother is going to spend an eternity being tortured to death with no hope of redemption while his jack ass of an older brother gets to bang the busty babe. Bummer.

reply

The younger brother was stupid pure and simple.

He will be tortured to death until he dies of old age. The castle's curse or blessing depending upon your point of view doesn't make you immortal. It just renders you unable to die from fatal wounds but not aging and dying from old age.

He will be tortured to death until he dies of old age.

Fair enough but to him it will sure seem like an eternity (he's probably thinking, 'do I have to be the YOUNGER brother?!?'

This was amusing enough fair, I watched two other episodes on demand and so far I would say that all three episodes had a rather morbid ending. I am certainly not one of those people who has to see a happy ending to every show but I do think it is a good idea to mix it up a little just to create some suspense.

There was a Canadian production of the 'The Outer Limits' in 1995 and they mixed it up quite well and I thought is actually helped some of their weaker episodes because you weren't quite sure if they were going to go with the obvious ending or not. In any case, I'll definitely watch few more episodes (poor rock head, passing over planets of deranged human populations, so sad, I want the T-shirt). So far, all three of the episodes had good looking women in them; I'm fine with that.
