I'm interested to know where the spectacular aerial river shots in the trailer (link below) / holiday area in this trailer might be pls - any helpful IMDB-er recognise this area/know at all ?

I've been curious as well- so after some exhaustive internet searching I found the following:
-Lake Norman is the main lake setting
(Filming at a yacht club was also here)
-Lake Wylie is also used
-the general store was in Mooresville
-the busted rudder was a boathouse in Belmont ( this image found on Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/BradleyGallo/status/323811747700019200
But gives no indication as to its location)
-Dougs house was in Sherrils Ford
...now I'm hunting for some of the tunes heard in the film
A casting page also lists Cornelius, Huntersville, and Davidson
