Does Anyone Else Think Michelle . . . [spoilers]

. . . killed Danny? The "murder" wasn't shown. Nick was shot first, so didn't have a clear memory of what happened. Michelle kept telling him, "YOU didn't save my life." She claimed she didn't turn over the gun to the police; she said she tried to get rid of it in the hospital. Remember that after Nick slipped out of the hospital, the police said to search and dust both rooms. They probably found the gun in her room with her fingerprints on it. Some reviewers have said this movie has no ending, but I thought it clearly did.

However, why she would be charged with "murder" I didn't understand. Wouldn't it have been self-defense? I think if there was a question at the end, it would be what happened to Nick? Did he just keep running--or did he find out she'd been arrested and come back to "confess"--only to find out he was innocent? And, sure, he broke parole, but at least he wouldn't be guilty of murder.

This is a strange little movie that I caught on TV one night, not expecting much from it, and yet it kind of pulled me in. Yes, it could have been better, but for some reason it's been sticking with me.
