Whatever, ya not the best effects but dammit lots o canucks in this and one of my fave red heads Felicia Day! When will we realize that Canada is the place to make scifi and fantasy shows..seems hollywood gets it...so come on CBC, CTV and the other canadian production company's get to it!

Elasalle didn't say that Hollywood is Canada. He (I'm assuming "he") said that Hollywood has discovered that Canada is a good place to make fantasy T.V. productions, and wondered why Canadian networks don't make more fantasy shows in Canada like the U.S. networks do.
*note that this is just a theory, and not backed by cold, hard facts*
It's likely because those Hollywood productions are given generous financial incentive to come to Canada and film (which is used to help fund the production), which they'll then make back when the studios spend the money there for labor and everything that's needed to make the film/show. There's no need to incentivize Canadian production houses to come there, since they're already IN Canada.
OP was saying Canadians should do more horror/fantasy movies since we live in the perfect landscape of it.
