would you consider yourself happy as an adult?

i myself actually don't know the answer if i'm happy. but i do remember there are 2 moments in my adult life where i feel so happy and it seems like nothing else matters

the most annoying type of happiness is the one you notice many years later

happiness I would say is more of contentment - at ease - peacefulness - steady - calm - positive in nature

A "moment" would be more like joy, elation, ecstasy.

Even in the movie they are a little mixed up in the end. Happiness doesn't mean big giant smiles walking around singing all the time. Just a steady state of being at ease in a positive way.

I'm happy!

Ever since i changed my work for the 60-hour work week in communication to a work in health care working with senior citizens.

Now I have so much love for the people I work with, that I feel happy all the time. When I wake up, I am happy that I have to go to work. When I get home I know I have made the difference in another persons life.

I am 46 years old now, male, and I have worked in health care for the last 8 years. Not one single day have I missed the old work.

I feel I am truly happy.

I'm 42 and recently divorced (not my choosing)...up to this point I felt I WAS truly happy. Truly in bliss, then my 2015 pulled the rug from under me.

I'm striving to find myself LOVING this life. not just saying I'm happy, but KNOWING and being truly happy. I know I can be there again...not quite there yet, but with prayer & self assurances, I'll get there again. :)
