A terrible full of itself film with a main character that's an idiot

Really really like Simon Pegg, but absolutely hated this movie.

No one in it acts like a real human being would, the scenarios are ridiculous, the main character is an absolute idiot (cheating on his girlfriend the first night, not researching the countries he's going to, expecting everyone to speak English, being completely self entitled)

the film takes itself way too seriously... like every random crap story from someone is super important, like every dull line is brilliant when it's not.

3/10, waste of my time.

You do realize the title of your thread is the highpoint of irony, right?

Pro Deo et Pro Patria

He did not cheat on his girlfriend technically, because he fell asleep right before the act. But he did seem like he had full intention to do it.
But I agree, completely exaggerated film.

He cheated on his girlfriend. In more than one way. With the Asian chick, and just the fact he went to search for love of his life, whom he only gets over after experiencing harsh rejection.

I fully agree.
This movie made me hate men, myself, all of western science and philosophy, and also cinema. That's pretty well done from one "warm hearted comedy".

I feel bad for simon pegg. I don't think he deserved this.

I like you..

Boring movie unfortunately.

Sadly agree... so sad to see the once great Simon Pegg put his name to generic schmaltzy crap like this :(
