If Cartoon Network pulls a Disney XD, I'm going to be pissed.

Cartoon Network just announced the premiere of Teen Titans Go for early 2013. Anyone watching DC Nation knows Cartoon Network is producing a series of 60-second shorts based on the Teen Titans series from the mid 2000s, but in the chibi anime style. Now it will be a full series.

I'm hoping this isn't bad news for Young Justice, and hopefully the 2 shows can co-exist. If not, this is way worse than the Avengers: EMH and Avengers Assemble situation. We have no clue what the new Avengers show will be, but we do know what to expect from Teen Titans Go. Unlike Teen Titans, which had a mix of comedy and drama, Teen Titans Go will be entirely comedic.

I'm really hoping Cartoon Network announces the renewal of Young Justice very soon. If not, this will be a sad year for superhero animation.

Dude Disney XD pulled a Cartoon Network they have been doing this stuff for years cancelling good shows to bring in more crap.

I think he's specifically referring to cancelling a well received show and replacing it with a similar show featuring the same characters. I don't think CN has actually done that in the past.

Well CN is definitely trying to get rid of Thundercats and Young Justice ASAP. having it as early as possible. BTW, Young Justice just had an amazing episode, which means it'll be cancelled any day now.
