Kate Gosselin in INSUFFERABLE!
OMG, if I ever had to go camping with her. The way she treated her kids was just ridiculous, and complaining about every little thing on and on and on.
I have to admit Sarah is more my kind of lady now!

I didn't think there'd be any question with what I meant. It seemed clear enough. I was speaking of the overly dramatic and over the top way she was complaining. Not the weather or the bug bites. Obvously she was there to play the role of the complainer, but it was the way she did it that seemed over the top

Do you really think the producers thought she was gonna have a great ol' time in that setting and share the same enthusiasm about camping? Obviously she is one of those "prissy" people and the producers knew that and thought it would make good tv. It's pretty naive to think otherwise. YOu don't think her being a selfish bitch helps promote her own show? Last I checked, it isn't the well adjusted perfect people that they build reality tv around. Perfectly well adjusted parents and kids don't make for great ratings. This could do nothing but help her show. It was a win for the Palin show because they got well known reality star on their, and it was a win for Gosslin because now people that never watched her show may want to see how she behaves on her own show. I never said that her not liking camping or her surroundings wasn't genuine. But the way she was complaining, felt like she was reading from a cue card and seemed contrived.

That's what I said. That it benefited the both of them. I never said the whole show was scripted or that she purposely went there to pretend to bitch. It was obvious to anybody that she was a fish out of water and would not be happy on this trip. She gave the producers what they wanted. If you think she didn't ham it up for the cameras when she was whining like that then you have to be pretty naive.
