What I missed in the middle between a month after the outbreak and all the people shacked up in the warehouse. Like, did it ever explain what the mysterious character was, why he had someone coming after him to kill him, and what his wife was doing?

I watched this and the sequel (not realizing they were related movies) and honestly, for a $5000 budget I'm rather impressed. Some of the people weren't as bad oh actors as they could have been, and it simply was what it was.plus I just hate watching movies and not getting all the details, but really don't want to go watch it again just to find out what I missed!
