RELEASE DATE????

IS THERE A RELEASE DATE FOR THIS DOCUMENTRY? EITHER THEATER OR DVD I WANT TO KNOW BEING A VERY BIG FAN OF THE 70'S DRIVE-IN MOVIES SHOT IN THE PHILIPPINES.

There is no date as of yet sadly, but hopefully soon. I would imagine Magnolia's Magnet film line will secure the rights for distribution here is the U.S. but that is only speculation on my behalf. I've been anticipating this for months, the director's documentary "Not Quite Hollywood" was awesome.

I missed this at MIFF, look forward to a DVD with a commentary very much! :-)

Would also love to see the cannon documentary come to life!

Just came out as a two disc dvd set through Umbrella Entertainment (bought it last night!) and should be available in all the main stores down here in Australia: I'm pretty sure one can buy via the Umbrella website for those who wish to buy it online.

Very similar to "Not Quite Hollywood" dvd set as it is packed with documentaries, audio commentaries, trailers and deleted scenes.

For what it's worth, fans of NQH and MMU can check out two dvd sets -- "Drive-In Delirium" and "Drive-In Delirium 2: The Offspring", combined you'd have 8 dvds worth of hundreds of drive-in movie trailers, most in 16:9 widescreen. I'm pretty sure that these dvd sets are also put together by Mark Hartley and co and everyone would be wise to get these sets as well.
