With only an hour and a half running time it feels rushed

At times this film felt so rushed, like tthey were in a hurry to get everything done, I think if it had been 2 hours long it would have allowed the story to fully flow.

I completely agree with it feeling rushed, though I don't know if an extra half hour would have been enough to save it. Despite a great cast, I can't help but feel that the filmmakers barely scratched the surface of this story.

I agree. I wanted more and the story seemed to deserved 120 minutes. But often, shorter is better. A rare case of intentional brevity, or just lack of good material to extend it?

It did feel very rushed, and just when it was hitting its peak it ended. Two hours would have been fine, and a two-parter with an even longer running length would have been even better.
