Yes, I read the Katy Waldman article, and like most preoccupied feminists, she misses the real point of the movie and focuses only one thing: the male is the hero, despite being a fraud, while the bad witches, who are also frauds are only frauds because they really aren't pretty the way the blonde witch is.

Hollywood feminists have penetrated the industry so thoroughly with their muscleless female kicking copious male ass stuff, that it has longed since passed into cliche-land. So how dare a producer make a move where a white anglo-saxon male is the hero and gets the blonde dame in the end, plus wealth. Not if they don't want to incur the ire of the Katy Waldman types.
